Spotlight on new active ingredients, sensorial effects and more
In keeping with the start of the new decade, Clariant Personal Care announces that at least 20 new premium formulations and products will come from its “Envisioning Beauty” brand during 2020. And many will debut this spring at in-cosmetics global (booth V50).
Following “Envisioning Beauty’s” introduction at the 2019 tradeshow, the Swiss based company turns attention for the 2020 Barcelona event to presenting new innovative specialties from three of the brand’s five focus areas, namely preservation, sensorial effects and active ingredients.
The company gets ahead of the crowd, set to kick off its new partnership with French biotechnology company, Plant Advanced Technologies (PAT). Stay tuned for exciting news on an active ingredient making its first appearance at in-cosmetics Global, featuring alongside one further new active for scalp care.
Next generation preservation
The company answers calls from brands and formulators for support in managing the heavily regulated area of cosmetics preservation with the launch of a new next-generation preservation booster. The latest addition to their range addresses performance challenges, formulation flexibility and increased natural content in formulations, helping the industry to reduce the amount of preservatives needed to achieve a cosmetics product safe for use.
Plus, the company puts the emphasis on formulator convenience when aiming for extraordinary sensorial effects with the launch of a new, easy to access tool highlighting the various benefits offered by its emollients and emulsifiers. New formulations inspired by these ranges will be ready to experience at the booth.
Finally, pride of place among the new introductions, Clariant will treat visitors to the first selection from 13 completely new, inspiring formulations that reflect the changes in consumer consciousness and behavior, and engagement in more active lifestyles and with playful beauty routines, seen in 5 trends from across the globe – all presented in the new “Beauty Forward edition IV”.
