Azelis is proud to announce its new distribution agreement with Stepan Company, a surfactant manufacturer. The company will take over the distribution activities for all surfactants from Stepan Company in Scandinavia.
Stepan Company offers a broad range of products, including a full line of anionic, cationic, nonionic and amphoteric surfactants, as well as surfactant blends and specialty esters. The company also creates custom surfactants and formulated blends to meet unique customer demands for tailor-made solutions. Surfactants are a key ingredient in functional and consumer markets, and Stepan Company provides ingredients for both consumer and industrial applications. The new distribution agreement is in line with Stepan Company’s global strategy to consolidate its distribution network. The long-lasting and fruitful relationship in other EMEA regions was a reason for the Company to entrust Azelis with the distribution of its surfactants in the new region now. Additionally, the distributor showed excellent market presence, knowledge and technical development skills to optimally serve and expand Stepan Company’s customer base in Scandinavia.
Excellent fit
Marnik Tack, Market Segment Director for Home Care & Industrial Cleaning at Azelis, comments:
“Stepan Company’s high-quality surfactants range will be a great asset for our product portfolio in Scandinavia. This new distribution agreement enables us to offer innovative, tailor-made solutions to the home care and personal care markets in Scandinavia. It is also an important acknowledgment of our continuous efforts to be a preferred and trusted partner on a global scale.”
Philippe Nastasi, European Sales Director at Stepan Company, adds:
“Azelis has proven to be an excellent partner to us over the past few years. Their market presence, customer intimacy and technical knowledge are exactly what we were looking for, and the innovative work they have done in their technical development labs will bring extra value to our local customer base. We’re very much looking forward to this new collaboration in Scandinavia.”
Full set of services
Striving to become the benchmark in the industry when it comes to a full set of innovative services, the distributor has expanded the number of its labs from 12 to over 60 since 2012, seven of those being dedicated to Home Care and Industrial Cleaning. The high number of application labs allows the company to serve the local market needs while at the same time helping customers to shorten their time to market.
