German Society of Perfumers calls for applications

The German Society of Perfumers (DGP) in the SEPAWA e.V. has launched a promotion program to support junior scientists and scientific studies on the sense of smell. The DGP award of 2,000 Euros is offered for outstanding diploma and master’s thesis or similar works.
These works must relate to the disciplines of perfumery and/or to applied sciences in the field of olfactory research, like sensory analysis and product research, olfactory physiology, psychology of perception, aroma chemical research, textile industry etc. The DGP, an association of perfumers and experts of the fragrance industry and related sectors, thus offers important incentives for scientific studies on the sense of smell and the benefits of fragrances.
How to apply
The awarding requires an efficient course of studies and excellent performance and results. The thesis shall be written in English or German and may not be older than 18 months. Furthermore, the thesis should have been finished by end of 2019 and must not have entered any comparable contests before.
