Covid-19: Seppic activates business continuity plan
Seppic is committed to both the safety of its employees and to continuing the delivery of its products to customers. From the start of the Covid-19 outbreak, the company has monitored all the suppliers that may be impacted and has ensured that safety stocks are sufficient to face potential supply difficulties, suppliers are not impacted in their operations (factories in operation and no constraint on logistics).
Seppic has activated its business continuity plan, which covers all activities: sales administration, supply chain, manufacturing, commercial activities, marketing and innovation, finance. Several measures of the plan are already activated: personal protective measures, proper employee conduct in case of symptoms, quarantine of employees having travelled in contaminated areas, increased frequency of sanitising and cleaning in critical areas, prohibition of international travels and limitation of domestic travels, suspension of large meetings, events and use of teleconference solutions, questionnaire regarding prior exposition to Covid-19 for external contractors to access a Seppic site.
The company is prepared to implement additional measures, such as extended teleworking whenever possible, and new work organisation to avoid contamination for critical teams.
