CosmeticBusiness expands position as leading industry meeting place
449 exhibitors and represented companies from 22 countries presented new products and trends from the cosmetics supplier industry in the four fully booked halls of the MOC Munich during CosmeticBusiness 2019. In terms of content, the industry meeting point convinced with topics such as innovations and sustainability and provided trade visitors from 59 countries with orientation and inspiration for product development.

“Fully booked exhibition halls, a high level of internationality, very satisfied exhibitors and visitors as well as numerous innovations and trends – CosmeticBusiness continues to grow and shows that it is the most important industry meeting place for the cosmetics supplier industry for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and increasingly also for the neighbouring countries”, says Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe, and adds: “With current industry topics such as sustainability, our trade fair was at the cutting edge of technology.
Growing internationality and great diversity among exhibitors
The enlarged exhibition area of 13,000 square metres was already fully booked five months before the start of the event. 449 exhibitors, (2018: 419 exhibitors) and represented companies from 22 countries presented their latest products and solutions for the cosmetics industry in all four halls of the MOC Munich. Overall, the event was even more international this time: 43 percent of the exhibitors came from abroad – mainly from France, Italy, Poland, the Netherlands and Switzerland. Last year the figure was 37 percent. Visitors also were more international this time: they came from 59 countries (2018: 55 countries).
